What is the difference between Fast Settlement and Toll Refining?
The main differences between Fast Settlement and Toll Refining at Ecotrade are the minimum lot sizes and the types of tests the material undergoes before determining its final purchase value.
Material batches with a weight between 100 Kg - 499 Kg will fall under Ecotrade’s Fast Settlement service. To determine the material’s purchasing value, we will perform an XRF Analysis. *Note that under normal circumstances, material under Fast Settlement is not applicable for ICP test. However, clients may request ICP.
Material batches with a weight of more than 500 Kg will fall under Ecotrade’s Toll Refining service. To determine the material’s purchasing value, we will perform ICP and Fire Assay.
